This is a bit embarrassing but, have any other women experienced unusual facial hair growth during prolonged periods of anxiety/stress?

I experience very very oily skin, as if I’m in a sauna or something. And I also got a couple of chin hairs that I was able to pluck out but yes! I know what you mean!

it comes with age, and some women just have it most of their post pubescent lives. Just tweeze, or use a hair removal cream for the face... it's just what happens....

It is probably a hormone change. Some medicines can trigger hair growth like thyroid medication.

Honestly I understand, stress does weird things to the body, I get a couple chin hairs (I named them of course Gertrude and Ingrid cuz they just felt like Gertrude’s and Ingrid’s) but no matter how many times I pluck them trim them shave them wax them, I’ve even creamed them, they grow back so quickly and so long and prickly, and it could be because of stress I’ve never thought about it, but I’m super into skincare so if you want any tips or tricks for after care if you go down the tweezing or waxing route let me know

this is quite possible as extreme stress levels can affect hormones hence leading to such occurrences. Is this persistent?
