Lexapro

I went to the doctor to do for a follow up to get the results of my blood work and I talked to him a little about my anxiety and depression. He prescribed be Lexapro and a few Xanax to take as needed whenever I’m having a panic attack. Anyone had positive results from the Lexapro? I just took the first dose and it has made me really sleepy which he said would be a side effect

fc00, I've been on Lexapro for 5 years and for me, it's been the best medication. No tiredness, clear headed only side is dry mouth. Give it a little time until your body adjusts to the medication and dosage. I wish you well. xx

I’ve tried Lexapro, didn’t have any positive results with it. Made me feel really sleepy and strange. I recently tried Cymbalta and I felt horrible on it. I was on Cymbalta for about 3 months and my depression didn’t improve at all. And if I missed a dose I’d feel like my skin wanted to tear away from my body. Currently I’m on trintillex and just started pristiq I’m also on Xanax as needed. Sometimes I think my genetic make up is resistant to drug therapy.

Been on it for a couple of years. It stopped working (they all do for me) but it is one of the better ones imho. I take it at night and am not sleepy from it. Benzos make me tired.

It’s working for me but I’m on 5mg.

I’m glad it’s working for you! I’m on 10mg and I feel like a new person! So far so good!
