Lexapro

Anyone on Lexapro for anxiety? If so how is it working for you with anxiety? My dr will not change to wellbutin due to it not being for Anxiety. My primary dr wanted the change but the psychologist did not recommend the wellbutrin but recommended Lexapro. I have not taken the prescription for lexapro yet. Per the prescribing dr I would have to slowly ween off of the prozac while taking the Lexapro.

I had great success with Lexapro. It worked for me for about 9 years. It also helped me with depression. Make sure you read about possible side effects. I had a couple of minor ones. It was worth it, though.

I was on Lexapro and it made me feel numb and I gained a lot of weight on it. Gaining weight on it is not a common side effect but I know at least 4 people IRL that gained lots of weight from it so go figure.🤷‍♀️

I just recently changed to Zoloft.

It's in the same category as Lexapro.

It has a calming effect w/o numbing for me so Im happy.

Im feeling so much better and my appetite has decreased. Now I gotta lose this weight..ugh.
