Well it's been my first day on Lexapro. Woke up with slight nauseu but felt good majority of the day. Had some nervous jitters around 5 pm. Considerably less than previous day's. Let's see how day two goes. Does it get better day after day?

What dosage have you been prescribed? I’m experimenting with 20 - 80mg daily. I haven’t found the right balance, although I have noticed a positive difference. The higher dosages make it impossible to function.

10 mg. I woke up today with no nauseu
I started at 5 mg and the first 8 days were awful (mostly because I worked myself up and focused on every sensation in my body) On day 9, I had an overwhelming feeling of calm... I actually panicked because I was calm and didn't understand why. Now I have increased to 7.5 mg (working my way to 10mg) and I feel good. I do get racy and jittery at times but it has definitely helped calm my anxiety.
The overthinking how we feel happens to most of us. I think that is the reason why we have this condition. I know that the medication helps with the thoughts. We all go through this when medications are started or changed
