I have spoke a lot here about my tapering off Clonazepam after taking it for 2 years.
Day one off of it - pretty much like any other day
Sleeping better and better with other med changes. A little groggy upon rising. Occasional feelings of very deep tiredness.
Overall daytime anxiety is getting quieter, quieter and sense of wellbeing has begun. Living through big work mistake & subsequent job loss, bankruptcy, covid, isolation, temporary insurance outage, new job, 3 big med changes and deep inside under all the transient hurt is the feeling that " its okay - here and now."
I am so grateful for the Love of my Creator. For the kindness this group shares. My church and my Family.

I’m so happy to hear of your positive outlook in spite of the very big problems you have been facing. Life may be tough sometimes but there are also many things to be grateful for.
Rìght! For me when I take my focus off circumstance and
live from my inside outward with sincerity I feel so much better. Sure I'm sad, fearful often, but it always always passes and the Peace & Love return.
I’m learning that there are differences between my brain and my soul. My soul is joyful, peaceful, and hopeful. My brain is sad and fearful as a response to things that have happened to it.
From August 2015 to September 2018 I was taking at least three Clonazepam daily. In July of 2018 my doctor reduced the number of pills from 90 per month to 30 per month. By the middle of July I was out of them and worried about what would happen and how I would handle it. The first few days were rough but I was able to get through. In August I got a renewal of 30 tablets but never used any. I have felt better ever since and glad to be off them completely. I wish you good luck in getting off them, if that's your goal.
I appreciate your timely support and encouragement.

A little late to this, but I wanted to say good for you, you have taken a positive step in the right direction. I am new-er to the forum and also just off of clonazepam.
