Been feeling kind of sad and lonely today. Would blame it on the time of the month but truly i think it's much deeper than that. What do you all do when you're feeling this way? I have an amazing husband and daughter and I'm still just crushed by this loneliness thinking on the past relationships I had with my friends and family and missing it.

The emptiness
I feel the same way all the time. I try to make plans with others and promise myself that I will go out and make myself happy but at the last second I chicken out. One thing that has helped me is going out by myself. Something simple like a movie or the park for a short walk. Just spend some healthy time alone
I hear you I feel like that too like sad not all the time , but there is days that come and feel like there is an emptiness and days just repeat with the same thing going on . I believe it has to do a lot in how we think and the love we give ourselves I think we need to work in loving ourselves to make the most out of the present our family we have now and the people we have in our lives now . And if you think you did a mistake with the people in the past maybe reach out them but not ex bfs because there’s is no point on that. I believe that you need to see that your past bad experiences show you what is good now and you should just learn from that and take the good .
I can relate. I have a home, children, a partner but I feel empty, lost even.... You are not alone. You are not crazy. I think women have a harder time shutting off the mind, I know I do. I also think that having children and aging can subconsciously stir up things, maybe something to do w the gap between what you thought life would be as compared to what you see in front of you. I also think social media is the devil.
This place is awesome. But when you think about all the other stuff we do, we're constantly staring into a persons "best life" It's not realistic & it can leave one w feelings of inadequacy. Maybe that has nothing to do w your situation, Idk. I do know that you can get through this, with help. We are all here & talking to a professional for meds or therapy can be greatly beneficial.
