How to see the positive

Feeling down today had a bout of flu doesnt help but feeling really negative about life and the future sometimes feel like whats the point. How do you try to stay positive.

Going for a walk and having some me time helped me. Don’t be afraid to deny yourself this. It’s hard I know when you feel like that to not feel like that, but it’s also ok to feel like that too.

Communication. Don’t keep things bottled up. Activity. Fresh air. Staying positive. Changing the way you react to situations. Retraining your brain to see the good. Never give up!

I find that if I can think of something that I am grateful for right now and tell myself that there is more, more opportunity, more blessings to come ...it helps to train the brain towards positive future thinking ...also positive self talk like look in the mirror and say “hey beautiful!” haha I actually don’t do that but I should really...it takes time to get used to. I read that the brain naturally goes to whats wrong and the negative easier but once in the habit it works well. Best to you!!!

Thank you starrlight my default setting has been negative for as long as i can remember its such a hard habit to break. Currently started reading A Guide to The Present Moment" by Noah Elkrief. He has some really good u tube videos also

I keep listening to the positive things that myself and others have said even if I don’t feel it I try to believe. It is a wave that will end before another comes in. After every difficulty comes ease. I try to push myself to do things I would naturally do on a good day but I also give myself extra slack during the day too, try to know my limits. Striving for balance. Sorry if not much help. Best to you.
