How to get rid of the churning gut feeling

Morning

In January I took a bad episode of suicidal thoughts doctor put me on 30mg of mirtazapine. Everything was working fine until July, then it all started again. The doctor then increased my medication to 45mg he also gave me diazepam to take if needed for the churning feeling in my gut didn't find them any good. I still have that feeling in my gut and struggle to eat. Has anyone suffered like this and got any way to get rid of it

Are you still seeing the psychiatrist? Try other meds until you find the right one.

Hi Horse1958Absolutely had/have that churning gut feeling which can usually happen in the morning.

Unfortunately, medication doesn't do too much for that feeling except give you an over all

dull feeling throughout your body. Once the med is out of your system, the feeling can

return each and every time you get stressed.

I have found that Meditation 3x a time as well as using controlled breathing solves the

problem instantly (after a while of practicing). It doesn't dull your senses, it's free and

it's there anytime you need that break with anxious symptoms.

Medication and Therapy are but band-aid effects but long term results are about finding

methods/tools that help calm both the Mind/Body Connection. :) xx

I do meditation and breathing upon waking up for 15 min.Again mid afternoon for about 5-10 min and

the when going to bed 10 min which I then fall sound asleep.

It's good to program your subconscious mind before sleep. Since

it replays everything we did throughout the day, the meditation makes

it a positive thought which helps us sleep better. :) xx

P.S. It's not so much about the amount of time spent but about the

daily repetition of this practice.
