Worried about my 13vyr old daughter having depression and anxiety.

Hi. I'm new here. I found this sight looking for some kind of guidance and support to helpyou 13 yr old daughter who has just recently told me about her depression and anxiety. I have suffered my entire adult life with both and have done a huge amount of self help as well as take meds just to keep balanced. I'm scared and worried for her. I have reached out to get help for her but it's a process and takes time. I don't have an Spray untill Dec 20th to talk to the primary intake person who decides what treatment path to start with. I just am scared for her. I love her so much this was not somethingI thought she'd have to deal with.

You are doing the right thing in listening to her and getting her help. My son has depression and social anxiety. Wish you both the best.

All you can do share your experience and advise. Get her the help she deserves it doesn't necessarily mean she will endure what you have. I worry about my eldest son who is 3. He is sensitive like me and so dont won't him to have this horrible illness. Good luck.
