I think my daughter is having depression. She works almost all the time due to student loans. She is a care giver professionally and doesn’t have time for herself. She drives an hour to work each way. I don’t have anyone to talk to about this. So concerned about her!

My daughter is having depression and anxiety
When I was going through my divorce, I went to a family therapist to figure out how to help my children through their feelings. That might be one approach.
Thank you. Something I plan to do. It’s been quite a busy and exhausting day.
Sounds like you need to stop worrying, your daughter will figure her way thru this, if she needs your help give it, otherwise leave it alone. Perhaps you need to go to therapy. I wish you well, love and peace.....Sprinkle 1.....
I am trying. She’s suicidal so it’s hard. I do see a therapist.
I called her but she’s going on vacation. Thank you.
Sorry you cannot get into see your therapist, is your daughter making plans to kill herself, ask her to call a suicide prevention line, they will offer her help to overcome this. There is a No. in the US "988" it is 24/7. You might even consider calling them yourself, and asking for help as a concerned Mother.
When I am in the absolute pits of depression, I become suicidal, I have tried it twice in my life and got caught each time. Now we have got me on a good set of med's and I am sane and happy again. Is your daughter able to go to work, that will be a good distraction. I take 50 mg cymbalta, it is for depression and anxiety. I also take Desyrel 100 mg for depression and sleep, gabapentin 300 mg 4 times daily, plus thyroid med. Can your daughter go into her Dr. and have a blood panel run, if her thyroid is off, she can go on med's that can make a Big difference. I know the work she is doing can be exhausting, I did it for 10 years and became burnt out. Perhaps she can consider a different line of work. If I can be of any further help, please let me know. I send you peace of mind, free of worry, love and hugs....Sprinkle 1......
We love our kids and always want what is best. Sometimes a carefully planned conversation or speaking with a therapist or good friend can help. So sorry our kids are faced with the student loan burden. The bright side is she has a good education and is helping others in a positive way! I encourage my son by letting him know others share similar challenges and encourage open and honest communication without judgement. Counseling is a good way for our kids to handle challenges with a trusted professional who is far more understanding and experienced with this stuff then I am.
