So I was having a really positive day from morning till evening, listened to some good music and just smiled a lot
But now that the day is coming to an end, I feel very depressed and sad,
I'm so so so so so alone, and my temptations to text my ex or call him, because he was such a big part of my life and was best friend and he just left me about a month ago, I can't help but all our memories keep flashing at me, including me being with his family etc, because I don't have a family at all, and now I don't even have friends
I don't have how to cope alone, I am having trouble even breathing
And I'm scared for myself

The quiet of the evenings are often the hardest time for those experiencing the loneliness of depression. I had experienced this all too often when going through divorce. What I found that helped was to take that time to pamper myself; to focus on me. A hot bubble bath, a manicure, Sleepy Time tea, a comedy video, cuddling up with a good book, soothing music . . . anything that would make me happy and took my mind away from my loneliness. I hope you can find happiness in the little activities that you love. Working yourself out of depression is not easy, but we need to take little steps to do so. Counseling and meds helped me along with the somewhat difficult recovery. Forums like this one helped me to find that in sharing experiences with others in the same situation, I was not alone. I wish you well . . . peace.
Night times are the worst for me. One thing I had to do when my husband of 16 years left me was to remember what I used to like doing before I met him. I had lost sight of who I was as an individual. So when I found myself single again, I didn't know what to do.
Thank u for replying, obviously your situation is far worse then mine, I'm only 20, boyfriend of 8 months broke up with me because he fell out of love, my friends have all left me on my own and they don't like me complaining about my life and no one is actually talking to me
