Hello. I was diagnosed with gad and major depressive disorder about a year ago officially, this i before a consultant disao srs me witg bpd. Ive tried most meds, anti-depressants, my body didnt do to well wth any ssri, i was put on a pregablin and found it was and still is working well, i can now communicate with people without intense worry and uncontrollable irritabilty, to the point that i completely avoided contact with people. After 6 weeks off taking 150 mg of pregabalin, i noticed that id improved so much with socia interaction but at night depression was really heavy, worse then ever and became really suicidal, as a result i became borderline psycotic and became self harming and generally wanted to kill myself. The nxt day a doctor put me on 150mg of venlaflaxine. Id say after approx 4 weeks off slowly getting myself back together and accepting i had a real illness, i started to feel much better, dont get me wrong there is day where i feel like a walking zombie, but its worth it. The main things that made me feel better was that my family came togethr and accepted i have a problem and everyone close to me. Please seek help frm a professional and believe me you can get help an live a normal life
