I don't know why but I woke up this morning and I feel like I'm going to have an anxiety attack. I hate when that happens. I feel like everyone thinks I'm crazy my bfs side keeps telling me to get over it and find a job because I don't have one but they have no idea what I go through. They assume I'm faking it. It's like I WOULD HAVE A JOB IF I WASN'T LIKE THIS. Everyone is stressing me out and I just wanna curl up in a ball and cry.

It's the anxiety talking, not the real you. I imagine the real you is a creative and caring person who works pretty hard.

Personify your anxiety. Pretend your anxiety is a crappy friend. Say No. I'm not gonna hang out with your a** today. I'm going to be the real me.

Hey Kaylalaondo,

I hear you! Sometimes it is good to do practical stuff to get your mind off your depression, but that only works if it's a mild form or just a bit of a bad patch of mental tiredness. It does not sound like that's what you are feeling. I think you need to address the depressive and anxiety feelings first and THEN look to engage in activities like a job or something. If you enter into a race with a broken leg, you are bound to loose, so let's mend that leg first! Don't wait, don't use any more energy on stressing and feeling bad about where you are right now or what others say about it. If you want them to take it seriously, you got to get serious about it by going to the doctors and getting some help. This way you show that it is not just laziness or whatever they think you are doing. Let us know how you get on and you'll find some great help on here too from loads of people totally understanding what you are going through. Good Luck! Xx
