Not sure what you have or have not tried but I would reccomend a adolescent psychiatrist and therapist. You can also look for a school refusal program in your area if the problem is severe.
I agree with Ajax2734. Let an adolescent psychiatrist see her and determine if she needs any meds and give her therapy if qualified. Otherwise get a therapist for adolescents. Ask around for a good adolescent therapist. Have your friends and yourself ask your current Drs. for referrals. Look online for reviews. Check the Psychology Today site for specialties, education, philosophy, cost and insurance accepted.
Can you talk to your daughter and find out what specifically is her reason for not going to school? What is scaring her about going? Will she talk to me? I've had some school problems with my anxiety when I was in school myself. I had to talk to my teachers about not presenting papers to the class because I would lose my voice from an anxiety disorder. I didn't know I had the disorder at the time. I just had to get the teachers to agree that I wouldn't have to present the papers because there was no point in me losing my voice. It's very embarrassing. Maybe your daughter has something happening along this type of problem? Or reading aloud in class? I could maybe talk to her and present some ideas? Or you could offer to talk to the teachers for her? It's important to get her in class even if she's not able to read aloud or present a paper or take part in public speaking in some way, don't you think? Get back to me if I can help.
