Had blood in my urine the last 10 days. Hoped it was a UTI but a course of antibiotics has failed.
I had a bladder neck incision last June to help urinary flow. The urologist saw a suspicious patch and a biopsy confirmed it my prostate cancer has spread to my bladder.
I’m hoping for a cystoscopy soon to find out what is going on. Anyone been in this situation? Any suggested treatments? Can they scrape or help surgically?
I’ve had probably as much radiotherapy as I can already. My PSA has been growing steadily and I was probably going to start a chemo re challenge in the next month or two. Any pointers or any advice on what to ask would be appreciated.
Thanks folks.

I had a similar situation several years ago when I was on a ADT vacation. A Cystoscopy was performed to confirm cancer which was in the neck of the bladder. I had surgery a few days later to remove it followed by 33 rounds of radiation. No recurrence (at least in that area) or even issues associated with urinating and such since. It was pretty scary with all the blood. That was about 4 years ago.
Started my journey with blood in my urine about 4 years ago as the starting point. Was doing Waitful Watching which just grave the prostate cancer a head start. Finally, a camera up my penis and into my bladder finding the cancer there. Turp, radiation, and ADT. Took a minor vacation, but new MO said no way and back on Lupron. QoL vs. OS.
