More cancer to deal with

I have to see another urologist who specializes in bladder cancer. Does anyone know of what is the standard treatment for this type of bladder cancer? Is it systemic chemo or surgery. I didn't need this news just before Christmas.

Local injection of docetaxel shows promise for bladder cancer. Maybe it could be used for PCa where systematic therapy was not tolerated.

Phase 1/2 trial results of a large surface area microparticle docetaxel for the treatment of high-risk nonmuscle-invasive bladder cancer. J Urol. 2022 Oct;208(4):821-829. doi:10.1097/JU.0000000000002778

lesions on liver and neoplasm mass in bladder

Do they biopsy the bladder mass and how do they cure if it is bladder cancer or could it be prostate cancer that has gone into the bladder ? Any information will help plus what type of chemo do they use ? Can the lesions in the liver be destroyed with chemo ?

Bladder Mass

The surgeon states the mass does not look like bladder cancer. I am concerned that it may be bladder cancer or prostate cancer metastasis not expressing psma? I understand it is rare for PCa to be inside the bladder. Has anyone here had a similar situation? Thanks

My 83 year old husband has recently been diagnosed with metastatic bladder cancer after months of misdiagnosis. Urologist suspected bladder issues over a year ago but missed it after scans and cysto. He has Mets throughout including behind his eyes, on bones, on neck under chin, in abdomen.

started capazitaxel this week

My brother called and his bladder cancer came back and wanted off the earth, he is going into hospice due to his frail state, rough day. Hopefully these treatments will buy me more time before the next treatment of pluvicto when this treatment fails.

Here We Go Again.

I was gutted as I know BCG is the Gold Standard for Bladder Cancer, So what do they want to try? Very little other options, CHEMO? - REMOVAL OF BLADDER? - RADIOLOGY? - These really are the alternatives..

Now also diagnosed with bladder cancer!!

My husband with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer who endured chemo and 2 rounds of SBRT was diagnosed with bladder cancer via a Cystoscopy. He had his Transurethral Resection of a Bladder Tumor surgery yesterday. Surprise was that the cancer had gone up a ureter towards his kidney.

Radiation Cystitis

Also how frequently does radiation cystitis progress to actual bladder cancer? How often should one have a cystoscopy?

Hmm... Just when you think that all is lost, take a look at this guy...

He was treated for prostate cancer in 2006, and for bladder cancer in 2015 and is still performing music. In most cases, prostate cancer is a very treatable disease." Never give up and continue to fight! Best, AJ

Dr. Simoncini's protocol for bladder cancer and a UTI?

Does anyone have experience with doing Dr. Simoncini's protocol and having a UTI at the same time? If so, how long did you wait after being diagnosed with an infection until doing his protocol? I've been on medication for four days, have more six to go, and want to start the protocol again once it's

Liquid Biopsy

I have a question regarding follow up testing after definitive treatment with radiation and while still on hormone therapy. As I understand it, the hormone therapy will skew both the psa test and also to some degree pet scans. Therefore, I'm wondering if a liquid biopsy that tests for circulating tumor

How do I know?

My PC metastasized to bones. It's been over a year since any scans. T is below 1.8 and PSA = 0.05, but how can I be sure if cancer is in remission?

Growth inhibitory effect of doxazosin on prostate and bladder cancer cells. Is the serotonin receptor pathway involved?

The effect of doxazosin on the growth of prostate and bladder cancer cell lines was assessed and whether the growth inhibitory effect of doxazosin on prostate cancer cells is serotonin (5-hydroxtryptamine; 5-HT)-dependent was investigated.
