I used to say I could never run. When I did I had shin splints and hurt so much and felt all wrong. I’m in my 60’s various health complaints but after type 2 diagnosis and starting weight of 13stone 2 - I was given info on this app. I’ve been brisk walking in my home every morning. I’m up to 3 sets of 10 but on good days I do more. It sets me up for the day. I have bought barefoot trainers and when mornings get lighter I intend to brisk walking outside! I’m down to 10.3 stone. Hoping to reverse diabetes.

Definitely worth getting outside as soon as you can, but I feel strongly that a good fitness and wellbeing regime is all about the art of the possible, doing what you CAN do and you have reminded me about walking indoors.
