Anyone had issues with the active 10 app today? Mine is not starting today and I have turned my phone off and on again to try to reset it.

Hia! (Waving hi 👋 ) It’s on App Store both android and iOS. Here is the NHS link to both Active10 and CouchTo5k apps: nhs.uk/better-health/get-ac...

My Active 10 app for android phone stopped working today. It would not proceed beyond the introductory screen. I tried uninstalling, re-installing, clearing the app cache, re-starting my phone, switching my phone off and re-starting. All to no avail. To all intents and purposes this app, like the 'Python' dead parrot, has ceased to exist, gone to meet it's maker. I want to keep on using it, but I'm at my wits end on what to do next. Anyone got the solution please? Cheers.

The developers advised me that they fixed the issue and submitted an updated version of the app which they expect to be available for download soon... They say do not uninstall and reinstall the app, rather update to the latest version when it becomes available

In the meantime, you can view Heart Points in Google Fit, in that app the main page shows today's Heart Points and tapping Heart Points (text) then viewing Week tab shows heart points per day of the week which is similar to the Active 10 app's week view. Heart Points are a close approximation to brisk minutes in Active 10

That’s great advice. Thanks for sharing.

Mine now appears to be back in business. My son, who has a keener eye than me for settings details, solved the problem of the "Google Fit" button sending me to Settings by looking at all the Active 10 app permissions in Settings, and turned 'on' all references to detecting movements recording times etc. etc. Now, the "Google Fit" no longer appears, and I've just returned from a walk which Active 10 correctly recorded. It would have been helpful if the developers had included some information on what to do with Settings once the Google Fit button had been clicked!

I have had the same problem and have now uninstalled and installed again which took awhile. I lost all my old data and have had to start again. Disappointed but couldn't find away to restore my old app

You're lucky! I did the same as you, but still can't get it to work. Every time I click the "Google Fit" button (on which it insists) it directs me to my phone Settings. I've no idea why.

Thank you. Unfortunately I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Hopefully I haven't lost all my data.

I have also lost all my data. Annoying as I had got probably nearly all the badges. Hopefully it won't take long to get them again.

Yes!! I have tried everything but to no avail. I really rely on this app and so annoyed!

Have you looked at Heart Points in Google Fit, see my above post. The data there for today and previous days should correspond very closely to your Active 10 data

The developers submitted an app update yesterday, it will be available for us to update after Google Play reviews and approves the release

Yes! Getting a bit fed up. After several days of this app failing to get past the intro screen, this morning it came to life. It got past the intro screen and displayed a NEW button, namely "Activate Google Fit", and saying the app needs this to function. Every time I click "Activate Google Fit" it shunts me straight into my phone's Settings! I haven't a clue what I'm supposed to do next. I've tried re-starting the phone, I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app. Nothing achieved. I'm forever being shunted into Settings.🥺

My Active 10 doesn't work anymore, I've had to uninstall it, disappointed though about that.
