★Hello A10 Graduates !★★

Yes, ready for a fantastic 2025 of walking, we have some new shiny badges ready to be awarded in 2025. Here on our A10 Forum, we’ve been carving out the badges and finally they’re ready! (All virtual badges, I fear, that appear next to your name on this forum, but denoting your amazing achievements, nevertheless) So here’s your chance to get an order in!

Congratulations, Walking Superstars!

Here is where you can request your badge!

We will try not to leave you waiting too long - we know those cute little grey smudges behind your name are as valued as the shiniest medals out there!

Please note that these are virtual badges which can be seen next to your name on your posts on the A10 community, but NOT on your profile page. Although similar to, they are independent from the badges in the A10 App.

So please leave a comment here by reply so that we can award you your well-deserved badge! Just let us know what goals you have achieved and which badge you want, and tell us about your walking journey! We have the following badges, and definitions are provided below:

Walked 1000mile year

Walked 10k

Walked 21k

Walked 42k

Walked 5k

Walked 2k

Walked 1k

A10min a day

A20min a day

A30min a day

A60min a day

Many Congratulations and a huge Well Done!!!!!

The A10 Team

I now have all my Active 10 badges; I got my 3000 minutes this week. However my Active 10 records only minutes not distance so please can I have any of your relevant virtual badges?

Wowsa!!! That’s awesome!!! I think the highest badge we have is 90min per day, which I've awarded you. But if you think the 1000miles per year might be more fitting, let me know. You managed to really get those miles walked! Amazing!!!

In January I completed 811,518 steps an average of 26K178 per day of which 6062 brisk walking mins (average 195 mins brisk) were completed out of 7843 mins walked.

I set myself the target of walking 1000 miles per quarter, or, 4000 miles in a year however you look at it it will keep me busy outside of work but leaving me plenty of time read.

I'm keeping my eye on the percentage of brisk walking against total mins walked which differs between weekday / weekend.

It will be nice to have the new badge so I'm in training to attempt the 42K (currently peaking at 30K) so hopefully by the autumn I can give it a go.

That’s brilliant! Yes, some other forms of exercise is never a bad thing. We have a sister forum dedicated to Strengthen and Flexibility at healthunlocked.com/strength...

Walk on!

Hey CBDB,

Thanks for the reference to the Strength and Flexibility forum. I have found (and followed) the podcast which I'll listen to when out doing my second walk of the day in the afternoon / evening. I have been failing at doing press-ups and toe touching on a regular basis and hope that this will help.

The plan will be to follow week 1 this week and listen to week 2 before moving on with it. If I do then I will join the sister forum too.
