First decent walk for a while πŸ™‚

I have still been keeping my activity levels up but I have been trying to find a ballance between activities and managing plantar Fasciitis. The plantar Fasciitis is certainly getting less and less but it has not cleared up completely yet.

Whilst I was on the early stages of my C25k re run I could manage both the runs and my walks, however, as the runs got longer I had to do less walking .

I am now at the stage having completed the program again I am finding now I can get my 30 minute runs in, then have 2 days before the next one but do a decent walk on one of those days .

My plan is to gradually get back up to 10,000 steps a day with alternate walking and running.

What I did notice today was that I can now complete the walk at a similar pace as before but for a lower heart rate and virtually no breathlessness.

My resting HR now is such that my GP is considering taking me off Beta blockers.

And since my weight loss, all other blood indicators are back in the normal range .

I start what's known as a stage 4 cardiac rehab course next week at my local gym .

This is a course you can take after you have successfully completed the first course which was arranged 4 weeks after leaving hospital.

I have stopped my intermittent fasting now as I am back into a healthy weight range but will continue with restricted carbs and no added sugar whilst looking to maintain my weight.

Have a happy Sunday πŸ™‚

fabulous to hear! And what a lovely photo!

I think many of us have experienced that walking only (or mainly) leads to more steps than running only (or mainly). So mixing both is a great way forward, I think!

Well done, good news if you get off the meds. On my walk this morning my head felt woozy and I knew that it was my low blood pressure, 90/60. Have monitor to keep an eye on it. Hope your fasciitis will clear up shortly.

Mine is dropping quite a bit in the afternoons but my GP isn't really concerned πŸ€”
