Mr D and I went for a Sunday walk. Mostly on pavements next to roads, what a hassle trying to find a bin to put paper tissue in. Seem to walk for a long time. Still croaky yet and back and ribs sore with coughing so trying not to push myself . Walked through the housing estate back along the railway line, still plenty of brambles on branches yet, met people with dogs but not many runners. Back through the local village to home and had to go around the block to get my 8 km in, 11438 steps on walk. Resting up now . my wee legs seem to do a lot more steps than Mr D .
enjoy your Sunday ๐

Well done to you Dorris8 and Mr D on those 11438 steps on your 8K walk, I am sure both of you enjoyed it.The first Sunday of October is usually the start of my long walk walking season, the bike is away until next May, however, my first long walk will be next Sunday because today as you know I travelled into Glasgow to run for the first time The Great Scottish Run, a detailed report on the Bridge to 10K forum.
๐ Thatโs a mighty long recovery walk! Well done to you both. Hopefully you will both be rewarded with a really good nights sleep minus coughing!! Xx
Yes probably a bit too far but resting up. Forecast this week rubbish so not sure about getting a lot of steps in. Feet up Tuesday night. Going to see Hairspray at Edinburgh playhouse.
