First comfortable run for a long while!

So after a lot of walking over the last few weeks and really struggling with my fitness I went out with my running group for a super steady 5k! The orange shirts are the run group manager at the front and my son in law who is a run leader at the back!

It was a very comfortable run 1st in a long time! We are currently doing trail runs on Thursday Evenings which made a change from the park run course!

We started on the course then branched off towards the next village on the outskirts of the town which I haven’t run for over two years! Then down to the plough pub and up the hill and I was able to run the hill and round the new housing estate on the old powder mills site! I was able to hold a conversation with my son in law while running a long! Which was a 1st for a while!

yes we had a few walking bits for a minute or two!

I really enjoyed this run!
