Is this the Active10 app people are talking about? or is this a group that discusses another app I see that says ActiveX on the iPhone?

This is the forum linked to Active10, a NHS Public Health England campaign and walking app for iOS and Android.

But we have forum members coming from much further afield. And we keep each other motivated in our respective walking journey‘s, so we chat about all things walking!

thank you, when I clicked on the iOS one, it says “ this app is currently not in your country. “

Unfortunately, NHS apps aren’t available outside the UK. It’s the same for couch to 5k.

I’ve never used the app. I just post about my walking and take part in the challenges that come along regularly. To be honest, I’m not sure I’ve seen many users here actually talking about the app! I’m sure you wouldn’t feel at all out of place without it-I definitely don’t!

Why are people on this group motivated to walk? Are people walking for bone health, cardio, fresh air and vitamin D?

I think this is such a good question that it deserves its own post, or even a poll! CBDB what do you think?

I walk just for the love of walking! I started during lockdown to keep myself calm and happy. I just carried on after that!
