I have been doing the 1000mile challenge for last 4 years & have enjoyed every mile The main thing it gives me is the motivation
In my rules every thing outdoors counts,dog walks leaving the car at home and walking to get bread and milk ,you get the idea
The Facebook group has been an inspiration , there are sub groups like the urban plodders who like me don't have the time to get out into the country much so do most of our 1000 miles around suburban streets
Walking is good not only for your physical health but for your mental health too.
