Let’s get the ball rolling with these badges please select your badge and request it, your names are looking a little lonely without a badge 😀. There really is a badge for everyone and loads to work towards no matter if you are just starting out or a seasoned walker. We go from just out the door to 50km+ and everything in between.

Active 10

Active 10 - Reward badges

Super Starter- Complete your first active 10 walk- a faster paced walk that lasts for 10 minutes.

Goal Boost- Level up and add another Active 10 to your goal- When you feel ready, up your goal to 2 active 10's a day- Do this when you feel ready, it is a journey not a race.

Triple Whammy- Complete two active 10's for three days running- once you get to 2 active 10's a day keep the streak going for three days in a row.

Walking Wonder- Achieve three active 10's a week for a month.- One you get to this stage you will be fitting your walking in as second nature and your pathway to good health and fitness has been set.

The other four badges are:-

Walking warrior Bronze- Achieve your daily goal for a week

Walking warrior Gold- Celebrate three weeks of getting your goals

Hi Rfc, hubby and I went for a walk every week in Feb...of over 5k, so I think I qualify for the BronzeDistance Badge!

Um, I'm not sure which I qualify for as I have achieved at least 8km for each of the last 8 days. I'm aiming for at least 10000 steps each day. I think my badge is Bronze, but I'm not sure.

Let’s see what medal you can get. How long have you been walking twice a week and what sort of distances or time are you doing.

I have been walking twice a week for about 4 weeks. I walk to work which takes me about 25 mins each way. I have also been swimming twice a week for a month. I

swim 30 lengths each time. I am going to try to swim 3 times a week if I can and walk to work every day if possible from now on. thanks

I think you have reached the top of the pre Active 10 badges so your award would be walking wonder platinum. Your next targets would be the Active 10 medals.

Well done on achieving your Walking Wonder Platinum Badge - you are quite some walker! Star quality indeed!

rozwalts profile image
rozwalts in reply toHelpfor293

That is a goodly amount of walking. I can manage at least 3000 steps in 25 minutes, allowing for having to stop while cars insist on turning up just as I am about to cross the road. Why and how do they manage to time it just for me I wonder.

I walked 6 KM a couple of weeks ago, please may I have a 5 km badge?

I'm sort of redoing C25K, one run from each week until I get my fitness back, I'm also walking on the other days too.

So sorry to hear that, I must of missed that. Last thing I was hearing about was your leader in running and HM training, that must of been a blow after such a high, Look after yourself and take it steady.

Will be thinking of you in your recovery. I do think a good baseline fitness, which you have, goes a long way to a smoother recovery. Take care. Xxx
