Had a lovely 8 mile walk today and feel good in myself.
Yesterday I was walking up to work as usual and saw my line manager who gave me a lift up there so I only managed 2 miles yesterday but 2 miles is better than no miles at all. My line manager says she's proud of the way I have taken steps to help myself after I had a pulmonary embolism back in December.
On Tuesday I see the practice nurse for a checkup and my friends say she will be pleased with me and give me a gold star like they give to kids at primary school when they have done good work.

Hi jo080448. You have really taken responsibility for your own health - well done you!!! You are coming on leaps and bounds and I'm certain that your medical team will be so pleased and proud of what you've achieved in a relatively short time. And feeling good about how you are changing your lifestyle is an added bonus! Let us know what the nurse thinks about the new you!
One for the positive steps you've taken and another for letting us know and inspiring others.

Hi
Thanks for your support and I have had the appointment and she was very nice and was very impressed with me and has advised me should anything come up in the future I'm not sure about medically to ask the doctors to explain why they are doing things to put me at ease which was helpful.
Next appointment is April with the hospital doctor who is nice.
