Interesting article, thanks for posting. One thing I picked up on was stride length - shorter stride in front, longer behind :)

Just found this article (while reading the one you posted Rfc!). Very interesting and emphasises the importance of strength work, and a combination of cardio and strength during the week.

So so relevant to me right now. Interesting read, thank you for the link. I’m working with my doctor right now to find the right way forward for me. I’ve been struggling for 1.5 years and I’ve had enough, time for a little help I think 😀.

Interesting. I overstride when I run. I bet I do it walking too. Long ploddy steps. Will be thinking of this tomorrow on my walk to the train.

I have hamstring issues at the moment and I am doing really small cadence and my speed is increasing with it and protecting my hamstrings at the same time. We found out that my problem was caused by an over stride as I transitioned from running to walking.

When you say forum, do you mean Healthunlocked in general? Most of the forums I work on are more exercises based rather than food orientated.

Couch 2 5km is running up to 30 mins

healthunlocked.com/couchto5k

Bridge to 10km is running from 30 mins up to 10km/1 hour.

healthunlocked.com/bridgeto10k

Stregnth and flex is all about a variety of strength exercises and stretching.

healthunlocked.com/strength...

Then this one is walking and increasing your pace with your walking.

I mean HEATH UNLOCKED. it goes on & on about what I had for dinner tea etc etc. I am perfectly capable of picking a good diet. These people don't know who they are talking to. After being a T1 since England WON the world cup.
