Slipped back a little!

Hi everyone! Well, what a mad couple of weeks I've had. I moved to a bungalow on Friday (no more stairs, and what a huge difference it's making already!) So what with sorting out and packing - and now unpacking, I've not done much walking! With this intense heat I have to walk in the evening and I've just been too tired to get out more than once or twice a week. I reckon I'll be more or less sorted by next Monday and then I'll be able to explore my new surroundings. Exciting days ahead!

So exciting Kay. I think a lot of people are struggling with the heat at the moment, I am sure even though you are not walking as such you will still be doing loads of “exercising” in packing and unpacking. Take care Rfc x.

Thanks Rfc - if bending over boxes is classed as exercise then I've done loads! Lol! x

I'll be excited to hear about your new walks Kay. I'm not surprised walking has to take a little back seat with all the moving - it's not easy!

You're telling me, runswithdogs! It was all so much easier when I was in my 40s or even 50s! I'm having a slow day today, as I'm a bit twingy - but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day!

I hope the move is something you’ve liked Kay50. Unpacking can be a real pain, but once it’s done, you can enjoy the new place. The heat though can be awful if like me you’re a ‘cold’ creature. I can take the cold but turn up the heat and I can’t even think!

Hi there suryakaizen! Yes, this move has been a good one - I've moved to a quiet little village which has a bus into town every 20 minutes, so the best of both worlds! Not quite finished unpacking yet - but I'm very close now. I'm already happier than I've been in a very long time - there are really good vibes here and I'm enjoying being in the countryside! We have a couple of days of cooler weather on the cards, so it's all good! I hope you're keeping well and that the feet/legs are behaving! x

Yes kay50 thank you. The weather in Bangalore is damp now - the rainy season is on, so my knees do protest now and then. I don’t walk around much then Otherwise I’m well.
