Met my college classmates (we graduated in 1969) for dinner last night. Some of us came with our spouses. My college roommate is headed to Machu Picchu with his physician daughter. They are planning to hike the Inca trail. Much as I’d want to do the same adventure, it is not in the cards for me. This morning I timed myself walking as fast as possible on a flat course, averaging 16 minutes/mile over 3.5 miles.

How lovely to meet up with old friends! I love to travel too, but my longhaul days are over since I had a dvt on my last flight to Africa. 16 minutes a mile, that's impressive svgeeks! Congrats!
