I had a heart problem, which meant that I could not walk far, and I was disabled.
Now the new pacemaker and additional atrial lead have fixed that, and I can walk.
...so I gradually built up the distance I walked each day: 3, 4, 5, 7 Km per day. Then I started trying to walk briskly... extending my stride, and I strained my hip.
So I am now trying to take small steps and walk slowly.
I stayed in the house yesterday, but I still walked 38.46 Km this week ¿not bad for anybody with a disabled badge?

Whooee!! That's some distance you're adding up there. Well done! That is not a small amount of walking. I like to plot my distances on a map to see how far it is. I live in Canada, so I'm plotting a route from coast to coast and seeing how long it takes me to add up enough kilometers to go across the country.
Sorry to hear about the hip. Maybe it's from increasing your stride length? Perhaps shorter, faster steps would feel better. Something to play around with when you're feeling better if you want to go faster.
