Levothyroxine was reduced late September 23 from 100ug to 75ug due to TSH 0.03, Have gradually been feeling the effects of this I am sure. Now feeling very tired, not thinking straight - brain fog, reduced appetite (didn't know was symptom until very recently), extremely lethargic, 95% of symptoms on the list - just can't think of all. was taking 100ug I still had on very bad days. Have some notes as been feeling really really bad, seems to get worse every day. Never felt like this in my life. Sorry, just can't remember and just trying to think is making me feel really bad. A few times when feeling bad but not as bad as now have taken another dose or half a dose and felt better. This is taking me so long as severe brain fog and my notes open before me. I had thyroid blood tests done while I was at the surgery I think because had not felt well for some time. I knew but wasn't thinking that it is best not to have taken regular thyroxine for 24 hours I think before test. But I had forgotten to take the day before's dose (taken around 8 am each am usually) so took around midnight and then another dose around 8 am the day of the tests. The TSH result then was 0.57 so listed as normal. One doctor I spoke to insisted all normal due to TSH being normal, but I questioned this to no avail. But have spoken to another doctor who said I hadn't had a T3 test for 3 years so she would add that to tests booked for 28th of this month. Asking advice as just feel can't go on like this. Have been sticking to 75ug as otherwise results won't be right. Sorry so long. Hope I can sleep

The website Thyroid UK Is brillliant too, but yo've probably found that already.
Sadly, UK drs have little training on thyroid conditions, and thyroid diagnosis and treatment can be woeful. Getting a T3 test can be difficult, getting t prescribed even harder. But it CAN be done if you need it.
