I have high blood pressure and recently increased ramapril from 1.5mg to 2.5mg, the side effects are horrendous now. Headache, increased tinnitus, sinus problems, not sleeping, feeling sickly. Don't want to take these awful things.

my blood pressure specialist changed my medication to ramipril 2.5 from enalapril 5mg. i felt quite ill with the change. I took them another month and decided to revert to my old tablets. Thanks GD. I felt normal again.

y yGlad you're feeling better again. Enalapril is another Ace inhibitor I'm guessing and they have a worsening effect on Tinnitus. It's driving me mad along with the sinusitis which I haven't suffered from in years. I'm stopping the Ramapril, don't know what to try next, but I can't cope with feeling like this. Take care.
