What could possibly be causing my late period??

I typically get my period around every 28 days with it being a little later every now and then. My last period was Feb. 1st and it is now Mar. 10th with still no period (the latest it’s ever been). I got labs done on Feb. 28th for an upcoming cosmetic surgery in which they also tested for pregnancy and that came up negative, then on Mar. 8th I took a clear blue pregnancy test after realizing my period was late and that turned up negative too. So obviously IF I was pregnant, it would have happened in a very short time span and it would have happened right before I was supposed to get my period (which I know it’s rare to get pregnant before you’re supposed to start your period). So I’m sitting here wondering why my period could possibly be THIS late. I am a healthy 23yr old and nothing in my life or health has changed that should be causing this. I have no health conditions and I don’t take any medications. The ONLY thing that I can think of that I’ve been doing different is I started taking Floradix iron tablets twice a day as per my doctors request for surgery. But from what I have read, that wouldn’t be causing this. Any suggestions?

Hi Ashawntae, I’m currently going through the same except its 3 1/2 months late (last period was november 2019) and i keep getting negative pregnancy results. I finally have blood tests booked for next week to test everything fertility wise.

Some causes for a missed period is stress (probably biggest factor), birth control changes underlying health conditions ect. If it goes on for up to 3 months I would advise going back to your doctor for more blood work.
