I'm wondering how the relaxing essential oils compare that have Linalool vs. Linalyl Acetate compare. Has anyone tried these and been able to tell the difference? Ho Wood has about 99% Linalool but no Lanalyl Acetate. Clary Sage has about 20% Linalool and 60% Linalyl Acetate. Lavender has about equal amounts of both around 30/30 or 40/40. Ho Wood is quite cheap for a lot of Linalool. I presume these oils are being applied topically with a carrier oil for good effect.
I found these two videos on Linalool and Linalyl Acetate, but it didn't really help with the comparison. I did learn that if taken orally that Linalyl Acetate will by hydrolyzed into Linalool.

I would also be curious how these compare to something like Vetiver or Pink Peppercorn, the latter having lots of Myrcene.
