So even six days after my period was due, I got a negative test and my little girl is now 9 months old. Around the time I found out I was pregnant I was adamant I was coming on my period, because I was late and the pains felt like that "Im going to come on feeling"
What tests are you using? First response early detection tests are most recommended or a cheap one from the shop. Don't bother with clear blue xxx
If the test result is negative, you may not be pregnant. However, negative results are less reliable. For example, if you do a pregnancy test too early, you could be pregnant, but there may not be enough HCG in your body to give a positive test result.
Pregnancy tests vary in their sensitivity (how soon they can detect HCG and what level of HCG needs to be present). You can find information on the packaging about how sensitive your test is.
If you still think you're pregnant after a negative result, wait a few days and try again. Speak to your GP if you get a negative result after a second test but your period hasn't started.
Hiya NewUserx sorry you going through this. Once it happen to me that I was late for 3 months !!!! I was buying test like a mad woman. Saying that I was also working - mentally and physically hard job. That time very stressed.
Suddenly my period decided to come like nothing happened. When I asked my GP what happened ? She said stress at work + constant worry when it's going to come = too much for my body and kept postponing my period.
This is how my body can react to stress.
Everyone is different.
Remember we are going through difficult/new times.
Are you in lockdown with other women? Apparently a lot of women in lockdown are experiencing delays or early periods because their periods are synching up with those of the other women in the house.
Lots of women are having weird period experiences full stop right now though I'm glad you're ok now though.
