Changing contraception

I started the Desogestrel pill (progesterone only pill) just over 6 weeks ago and have been bleeding constant on it for 5 weeks, aswell as having other side effects that are really takin there toll on me and even starting to effect my relationship.

I want to change contraception but was told I couldn’t have any other pill and my only option was the implant or coil but I’m way too young for a coil and as for the implant I heard it’s the same as I’m on now just in implant form, and am therefore scared I will have the same issues However I will then need to get it surgically removed if it does do the same as I’m going through now.

Does anyone have any advice on this or getting the implant and your experiences.

Thank you :)
