Hello, I have been on the pill for a good 8 years, I recently got taken off my pill Yasmin by a doctor after them failing to do any check ups and realising I was at great risk by being in this pill. I was asking for help on what options I had as bad periods was the main reason I was on the pill originally. The only option they have given me is the IUD which I am very cautious of due to horror stories and bad reviews of periods lasting months. I fell this is my only option but I want to know people opinions on it first. Any help would be gratefully appreciated xxx

I was on the pill noriday! But unfortunately that wasn’t agreeing with me ( I’ve had heavy periods and painful ones since I was 12) .

My gynaecologist recommended I had the marina as it would work fine! I’ve had it fitted for about three months and I feel amazing on it. I was bit hesitant at first due to the horror stories but I went for it and I feel amazing x
