probably PMDD

It’s ridiculous how bad my irritability gets about 10-12 days before my period. I feel like everyone is out to irritate me and is against me. I am irritated by my irritability most of all. It’s just not right to feel like this for a third to a half of the month because of hormones. I just want to be able to function like a normal human being without wanting to stomp on people if they are walking in front of, next to, or behind me. I’m not usually like this.

That is all. Thank you.

My daughter is the same and takes some vitamins to help with it. I never suffered with it thank goodness but now have Graves’ rage. I got is when I was 50 and occasionally I have flare ups Christmas added to it and my family were tip toeing around me 😡

Here is a link about vitamins that might help

I found It could be really surprising how much ‘temperament’ was affected during Perimenopause…sometimes it was scary…..my GP recommended Evening Primrose Oil. As it happened ….it didn’t suit me because I’d been diagnosed with a type of Epilepsy..and I suspected it triggered symptoms.

At the time, it was early days re HRT..but I tried ‘patches’. These weren’t totally adhesive and I didn’t feel much benefit.

🙂 Now..with the internet.Perimenopause is openly discussed and there’s lots of empathy and support on specific support groups…it’s worth having a look on Facebook.

Oh thank you I’ll try EPO out! I’m willing to try everything. I went to my primary care doc and hormone levels came back normal but I still suspect it could be perimenopause. HRT is in my radar as well, I saw there is a cream now. I’ll checked out FB Ty!
