Hello and welcome, Wells1048 😊
A good start could be reducing carbohydrates. If you have some of the following - cereal, bread, rice, potatoes, pasta, crispbreads/crackers - at every meal, then for the next week cut all those things out of one of your meals, or two meals, and see how you go.
This is a simple, healthy, straightforward way of eating. You could print it out and use it when planning your shopping and meals phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

I was suffering from this when on anti depressants. I found nothing worked. Since off tablets I have improved a lot a drink more water
I’m on antidepressants so do you think it’s that x
I did a lot of research on the tablets and they definitely increased the bloating and weight gain. Don’t stop talking the tablets. I know it’s annoying I also found it caused ibs with me xx
Ah no what should I do I’m so unhappy x
If you are concerned, talk to your doctor. Do not take yourself off antidepressants.
What are you taking if you don't mind me asking?
Oh I won’t il give them a ring I’m on 100gm of sertrilne x
Ah, no I don't know anything about that. I was mirtazapine a few years ago and recently found out from Hidden that increases appetite. I looked at my records, and I put on 10kg in 8 months following being prescribed that. 😱
I understand that sertraline increases weight gain in some patients. Initially you lose then you gain. The weight gain is not so well documented as on mirtazapine though. Mirtazapine is prescribed to anorexics to compel them to eat - which explains some of my deep irritation when I was prescribed it without being warned of that common side effect.
If it is bloating then try some ginger capsules or tea, it's great for it.
Get it checked by a doctor too.
can visit doctor can give tablets that hep
I'm on anti depressants and also suffer with bloating and IBS. I started taking peppermint oil supplements a couple of months ago and they really help, so would def recommend giving them a try.
Thank you x
