belly fat
Following, need tips myself 🙂
It's not always easy.
Healthy snacks we know about. Celery sticks, etc.
What kind of snacks do you like?
How many times a day?
I read a tip on the forum about snacks. The urge comes in waves. Let the first wave pass. Let the second wave pass. By the time the third wave is coming, there may be lunch time.
If you don't know healthy snacks, yet, cut down the portion or frequency.
Dinner: less carbohydrate. (As you lost a lot of weight, you must know this 😀)
Exercise: depending on the pain, can you abdominal exercises? There are a lot on YouTube. But it can cause massive muscle soreness, so be very gradual.
Ah, and a bunch of ladies are up to hulahooping! Would you like that?
I'm slowly lowering my carbs, I eat them all day if I could haha. Not really there with workouts , need to get on it!!
There's a Strength and Flex subforums here. Walking and swimming are great, as lucigret suggested. Zumba or other forms of dancing?
Cant do zumba- I dont shimmy for anyone 😂😂 I've heard the has fit on YouTube are good for home workouts will need to give that a go
Ah, no problems. Shimmy for yourself then. I love the music during the exercises. Hm, but when I am out, I never listen to anything. I was going to try but I think I don't really know how.
Hello Pam and welcome to the forum,
Well done on your weight loss so far.
Personally I would suggest that you look at the amount of carbs you are eating and incorporate some good satiating fats so that you don't feel the desire to snack.

As for exercise, simply walking for 30 minutes a day will help. Swimming is a really good way of toning all of the body and gentle if you are in pain.

Raw carrots are a healthy snack... but I am sure there are some calories in them. Would they be LCHF with a suitable high-fat dip?
The theory is that you should eat enough good food at meal times to avoid the need to snack... but, if you only eat two meals a day, in a four-hour feeding window - you can eat between meals!
Hi Pamb76,
I'll tell you what's worked for me in terms of shifting stubborn belly fat. Exercises that target the belly area ie plank, yoga postures such as suryanamaskar (sun salutations). Its important to listen to your body too. Do exercise but if you start to feel pain stop. And try something else. Honestly speaking though to loose that belly fat you will need to focus on abdominal exercises.
All the best xx
Hello Kk, are you just passing through and sharing advice or would you like to join the Weight loss forum? Either way, you are very welcome.
I'm actualy not sure but you could always try granola bars.
Sorry to disagree but granola bars aren’t that healthy, generally about 50-80% sugar ☹️ If you can I would advise against eating between meals at all, it’s not necessary if you eat enough at meal times
Can make your own granola (ish) bar or ball. Then you can change the ratio of the ingredients. Still an energy 'bomb' but less sugar.
thku to everyone who took time to reply to me really appreicate itxx
How are you getting on with the weight loss and healthy snacking?
Have you found some suitable exercises?
