Hello and welcome to the forum, Wobbie
I think you'll find this a friendly and supportive place. Everyone has their own approach and they'll be happy to answer your questions. If you're trying a new approach, give it a good 4 - 6 weeks before trying something else.
We have lots of regular posts - weigh in, daily diary, fit is fun etc - and we currently have a Countdown to Christmas Challenge. They're all ways of getting involved with the forum and other members so follow this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and you'll see everything on offer.
Meanwhile, this is a straightforward weight loss plan, based on real food and adaptable to your tastes phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...
Hi there wobble,
I have cfs/me and understand the difficulties re exercise. My approach was to swap potatoes with sweet potatoes, rice for whole grain rice and the same with pasta although I am Wheatfree and dairy free anyway. In lockdown I managed to do yoga as all other commitments vanished but can't seem to slot it back in now. I managed to loose 3 stones altogether. So it can be done with such limitations! Hope that helps.
Hi bee-bop yes I have done all that two.i find my weight fluctuates all the time with fybro and M.E.Thanks
Ah ok, yes weight same here but not as bad as it was at least. I used to eat energy bars for my cfs/me thinking they would give me energy but they were just piling on the pounds because I wasn't exercising!
Good luck with the belly fat.
Hi I tried energy bars and I was same.you try and do exercise even a little and then your hurting.thankyou.ill let you know.
Your 'belly fat' may not be all fat but some of it may be inflammation of the gut due to eating refined carbohydrates and refined seed oils, hoever cutting those out of the diet will probably help you loose tha fat as well as the refined carbohydrartes tend to spike insulin which drives enegry storage in the form of fat.
