I suffer with fibromyalgia and although I've come a long way to take control of my condition I need to loose a lot of weight to give my body the best chance of a healthier happier future. Now is the time for me to smash this!!
I am starting my 12 week programme on Tuesday and just trying to get my head around a few things before hand. Looking for any tips, hints and recipe ideas you guys are happy to share with me along the way.

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:healthunlocked.com/fasting-...
Hello! I have rheumatoid arthritis so in a similar boat to you and understand what it can be like at times. I bet you also get bombarded with ‘cures’ and be vegan, do keto blah blah. None of which worked incidentally when I tried them. As with RA, it’s recommended to have a Mediterranean diet which I’m assuming will be similar for fibro. Fish, fruit and veg. Can your doc refer you to a dietician for additional support? Good luck!
