So just thought I would pop on and say hi! I have recently joined this site in the hope of inspiration and support.
I have been overweight most of my life, lost a great deal on SW back in 2015/2016, however during a past relationship of 5 years, I gained everything back on more (around 9st). Recently single, rebuilding my life, and currently receiving support and therapy to help me heal & process things due to the nature of the relationship, I now feel I am ready to tackle my weight! I have tried all sorts in the past but my relationship with food is somewhat emotional and feel calorie counting is going to be the way forward for me. I have a long journey ahead of me but looking forward to reading about everyone's journey

Hi, I’ve only recently joined myself and already finding it a very supportive place. Once you’ve settled in then it’s a good idea to check out the weekly weigh in posts, lots of support there to help with the motivation. All the best for your journey ahead 😊
Hi, things are going well at the moment. I have had a quick browse of the pinned posts and going to start trying to join in the other activities now that I’ve lurked a bit 😊
Hi there Butterflyonarose, sounds like you have support in place therapy wise and are now motivated to get cracking on your weight, you did it before and can do it again 👍
You will find great support in here and I look forward to seeing you around and hearing of your progress. I’m a calorie counter but I make sure that it’s good healthy home cooked food too. I think what you are eating is just as important as the calories.
