newbie here! i am really hoping this works after a year of trying and failing miserably i’m determined to not waste another year away of feeling uncomfortable with how i look, i still have a lot to learn and figure out what works for me but fingers crossed that everything works out

Same here elo! Just been on my scales and the damage could have been worse. 4lb on. Cardiology each test on 15 of this month and I would sooooo like to be into the next stone down.

Don't think of it as another year, just take a day at a time, make mini goals so it's easier to deal with, also think of it more in terms of eating healthy rather than a diet.
Think of all the healthy nutrients you're putting into your body rather than junk food.
Also remember the tortoise won the race not the hare.
It's taken a while for us to put weight on so it's not going to go overnight, also we will have bad days/weeks the trick is, just don't focus on them, just pick yourself up and move on, overall you will be eating better than the old you so focus on that and your goals will be achievable, hope that all helps.
