good afternoon my names anita and im a newbie to this site my start weight for monday 18th is 14 stone my first goal is to loose 10lb as instructed by nhs site and i would ike to get fitter

Hi and welcome don't think Ure on ure own with the weight gain during lock down 😊I ve put a stone on past year but I m bk out walking every day and feeling much better and motivated its not been easy but I am determined I m now 12st 8 lbs which is way way too heavy for me but I m looking at getting stone and half off in next few mths especially for my health I hope u enjoy being on here and ure journey gets better lots of luck xxx
thank you for taking the time to message me a year ago i moved house moved 200 miles away from family and friends then went into lock down. have not met anyone to exercise with which would of helped me alot. im determined and joined nhs fitness 12 week programme
Hi Chrissydoll and welcome to this amazing forum. I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around.

The Daily Diary and the Weekly Weigh ins are very good places to begin. You will find the DD and WI in the Pinned Posts under “Events”
I find the Daily Diary a very good place to share my plans and get inspiration from other members, too. Once the day’s food is written down I’m far more likely to stay on track.
The key to success is participation, we are all on the same journey.
If you can’t find something just shout, there’s usually someone around.

Scroll down and have a look at all of them. The Monday Mass Movers will be third on the list in the morning which is a good time to post as that's when you'll get most chat.
