π Looking to connect with others on a weight loss journey. I don't have a weight loss goal at the moment meaning I have no idea how many pounds I want to shed overall but all I know is that I want to feel better about myself (this is number one in my mind) and lose the random comments from people about going to the gym π
I struggle alot with binge eating and cravings but I went Vegan for a while last year and felt amazing. It wasn't to lose weight it was a moral choice and all kind of fell apart due to a lack of discipline/motivation and my social circles.
Hoping being here will help keep me motivated and once I start living that healthy lifestyle again I can get the confidence to stick to it and just be myself really.

There's a lot there but it's worth taking your time to read, honest!
We recommend you joining a Weekly Weigh In on the day of your choice, and using the Daily Diary, where members share their meal plans and get useful feedback.
It would be a good idea to check out your BMI if you've not already done so. This will give you an idea perhaps about whether you do/don't need to lose weight: you don't need a tape measure just your weight and height and here's a link to the NHS calculator
Thanks I did Keto before. I love some of the principles of it so I think it's something I wanna keep incorporating into my new lifestyle but I don't think Keto is 100% right for me.
They say you don't need to do keto for long, I did the two week induction and now relaxed into LCHF, I think the idea of keto is to help you ditch the sugar cravings and get you into the fat burning mode asap x
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
