I am restarting after gaining a stone of the stone and a half that I lost last year 😕 I will rejoin the Monday weigh in. I am aiming to try to avoid going too low on the calories (which I do every time I try to lose weight) and therefore get into a vicious circle of easily gaining weight when I ease up on the diet. Looking forward to receiving and giving support from this great forum. Have a good day everyone 😀

As you know, this is a very busy forum with lots going on, but joining in with things like the group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary is really helpful 😊
Have you thought of trying a different approach, since focusing on calories hasn't worked for you, in terms of losing weight and keeping it off. These could help
Hi restarting. I have done the same. Lost a stone before summer and put it back on again. But determined to not make the same mistake again. Lots of lovely winter veg to enjoy. Goid luck. X
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Just started dieting 92kg (14.5st). Hoping to lose 4st or 28kg (10st is healthy for my age). Just a question, does 'quick dieting' work? I tried a 600 cal diet and lost 5kg (nearly 1st) in 11 days, but I gained it back quickly. Is it a coincidence, that you gain weight as fast as you lose it?
Hi. I cut down my calories to 1300 a day and still took 5 months to lose 1 stone 9lbs. When the weight loss stopped and I couldn’t go any lower with the calories I became disheartened and then started gaining the weight back on. I think the lower the calories you consume the harder it is to maintain any weight loss as it isn’t a realistic way to eat.
Personally I am going to have a go at the Lchf 😀
