Most people here count calories, following the 12 week NHS plan to get them started.
Hi, 9s&c, I think there's more of a split, with many members lowering carbs and being relaxed about healthy fats. You'll see that on the Daily Diary, which I know you've joined.
I came across this article recently and it really made sense to me. You mentioned you had a dietician working with you: maybe print it out for her/him and see what they think about it: they should have a good understanding of the physiology psychologytoday.com/us/blog...
