Welcome to the weight loss forum.
Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.
Have a look at the Daily Diary which you can find on the Home page in Events. It is where all the members are sharing their daily plans on what they are eating and any exercise they are doing. This thread will give you some ideas on how to start.
Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.
Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.
We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us today. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.
To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

I think i can help u because i made a dramatic Change in My life Till 3 years now and lost on The way 20kg
Role Models helped me to keep on Lifting weights and eating healthy
So i would eat less carbs or fat to get a deficit to lose some fat. But only healthy carbs like apples, bananas or potatos. Or in case of fat more vegaterian fat like sunflower oil
And i have to Mention that i'm from Germany so don't Jungde me of My Grammar or missing/false vocabulary✌🏽

This is a wonderful and very supportive place, once you've sussed your way around! Took me a few weeks.

I won't try and tell you that my journey was easy - there were many blips along the way, but 5 years down the line, I feel about 20 years younger than I did when I was lugging around 4 stone more.

Hi Kerryc27 this site is about helping each other who all want to lose weight with whatever diet they do including the one we have here of calorie counting and 12 week plan or any others they choose to do. We all tend to put our weight loss on our weight loss page for whatever day we choose at the beginning but we only fill in this day every week after this, as we have one every day of the week you can choose any day, but continue this day. We all tend to give each other support as we are all losing weight and doing the same things overall. The more you enter into here the more support you will find. This is the best place I have ever found to follow for weightloss and just do this by counting calories and managed to lose 2 1/2st and I have found this so much easier than I thought and don't even think of this as a diet just look at it as a lifestyle change because I will always think about the calories in things for the rest of my life to make sure I eat right amount so no further problems are reached in future. Hope you find it easy enough on here and get enough information to get anywhere, if you have any problems or want to ask anything about your weight don't be afraid to ask as one of us at least is likely to know the answer but many more would be likely to and it is a very friendly and helpful site.
