Well done on losing weight!! Yup unfortunately some people tend to lose from cleavage!! I want to lose mines from my stomach lol!

Oh you lucky thing ! That's the area I want some gone from :-) I'm finding that it's disappearing inconsistently from bits of me - I just need to wait for other bits to catch up !

Funny isn't it - I've spent my life wishing I was flat chested ! I'm not a girly-girl at all, and live in jeans and t-shirts, flat shoes etc - so I'm not bothered and in fact feel very self conscious about having a 'chest' ! Perhaps if I was I would be wishing it the other way round :-)

Well I'm different, got an 80s wedge hair cut, love my embrodered clothing!

Prided myself on never being flat chested, love pink, purple, and choc brown in colours, so yes I do mind losing my cleavage!

I have lost 20kgs and have not really dropped size in clothes at all... except bra size where I have gone down several. I am a healthy weight now but not a healthy waist size so I have 10kgs to go... I know I am not built to have a small waist and don't want one but I know I am still carrying more fat round there than I need to.

Perhaps you could reward yourself for your success by getting a bra fitting and buying some really nice new bras? I have developed quite a bra buying thing... it was one of the first things that helped me in my weight loss endeavours... get bras which, however horrified by the size I might have been, I found comfortable and made my clothes and me look better even before I'd lost any weight. I found it tremendously encouraging.

I had a panic about this too. But I've now got used to my new size and it's not as bad as I thought at first - the mind can play tricks! A few weekends ago I went shopping for a good bra, it was £38 but worth it. Everytime I wear the new bra I feel great and it's helped me adapt to how I look now. I'm going to buy more of the same style/size, one at a time, hopefully without bankrupting myself! I really recommend you do the same 😊

Hi Diana,

Congratulations on achieving your goal weight. I think people's recommendations to have a new fitted bra might be good to help you feel even better about your new proportions.

Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Lowcal :-)

understand your misgivings, but as a bloke, I'm glad mine is gradually decreasing: another good reason to stay onside and focused on the plan.

Oh dear Diana, you're the same as me. The only place I have lost inches from is my bust, which isn't a problem at the mo, but will be as time goes on :)

Not to worry tho', how many busty models do you see going about? Methinks we're in with the right crowd ;)

It's funny how it goes. I wanted weeks to lose anything from my waist and I still have a tummy. First it was my legs, hips and bum that I lost fat from then my rib cage. Oddly enough my cup size is the same, while all my knickers and trousers are falling off me! But I was a pear shape before, so glad really.

Thanks to everyone and their replies, I think I'll just settle for 10st 7,5lbs and not worry about the remaining 1.5lbs in bmi terms I'm still slightly overweight, I don't think it really matters now.

I'm glad I lost my 5lbs that I had put on, I feel so much less heavy than my original 12st 6lbs , way back in 2011, the truth is I regained a few pounds since 2013, and glad I've shifted it.

The recent bloat made me realise how much I value being slimmer and healthier!

I think may be I will get refitted for new bras, after all I need support these days!!

this happens to me too when I loose weight, however its seems to work from the top down, so just got to keep loosing till it hits my thighs!

ur cleavage may be smaller now but when u loose more weight it will be in proportion again (hopefully)

I've noticed that when I started to lose weight it started to go from the top and worked all the way down to my feet.

First to go was my face, it's a bit slimmer and my glasses won't stay in place. Moving south, I've lost 5" from my bust but my cup size is the same. I've lost 8" from my waist and 5" from my hips. My feet are definitely thinner - I'm slipping around in some of my favourite shoes.

I've never had a pert, shapely bottom but at the moment it's almost concave and I definitely need to invest in some new undies. Do you think Bridget Jones would be interested in a bundle of 'one owner, good condition' sensible pants? Most of my clothes are far too big for me but I'm reluctant to start buying a lot of new stuff as I still have a bit of weight to lose but I have found a few things in my 'never-worn cupboard' that fit and will do for now.

I've lost 2.5 st so far and another 10lbs would take me to my target weight of 9st; I'm only 5' tall so that's a comfortable weight for me. I lose 1 to 1.5lbs on average each week and I'm quite happy with that.

Onwards and downwards!
